Store opening: our first LaMunt store in Munich

Deciding whether to open a store is never an easy decision—there always seems to be too many questions to answer. But sometimes, when life offers an opportunity, you can’t step back; you have to take it and see where it leads.

So, on April 4th, we officially opened our first LaMunt Store. Surrounded by chats, drinks and appetizers from South Tyrol—the birthplace of LaMunt—our community came together to reconnect and build new friendships.

The store is more than just a place to showcase our apparel. It’s a home for women who share LaMunt’s values, passions, and ideals.

This is the birth of our “community place” concept: a space to welcome, share, and inspire. Here, we’ll host events ranging from book presentations and art lessons to walking groups, all focused on fostering authentic connections.

“For us, the sense of community comes above all else. This project is just one of many examples of that.”

Located in the heart of Munich on Frauenstrasse, the store opening was a great success, perfectly embodying our community spirit.

For the occasion, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Surri, a Swiss artist who handcrafts beautiful bags from recycled materials—including surplus fabrics coming directly from LaMunt. Her creations are displayed inside the store and perfectly represent the blend of craftsmanship, sustainability, and creativity.

Beyond the opening, this space aims to be much more: we want to create a space here that inspires women, helps them find new mountain companions, and offers a home to all those who want to embrace their Mountain Me-Time.
