From inspiration to creation
The design and development process for our garments

Every LaMunt garment springs from an emotion. A moment spent in the mountains. A color that recalls the rocks, the sky, and the earth beneath our feet.
It begins with a conversation. With a shared memory of a day in the mountains. From women who love the mountains and know what it means to move and breathe among the peaks.
Our designers transform these feelings into initial sketches. The lines define the silhouettes. The proportions are carefully studied. At this stage, creativity and intention converge. Each garment is designed not only to support movement, but also to enhance individuality.
Then the materials come into play. We select fabrics that are comfortable on the skin and mindful of the planet, follow the body’s movements, and respond to the different conditions in the mountains. Colors are chosen with a focus on nature. Every shade has a meaning. Every detail contributes to the overall vision.
The ideas then move on to development. The paper patterns take shape. The first prototypes are created. Product developers and product managers work on every detail, on how to improve fit, functionality, and comfort. Pockets are positioned. Seams are rethought. Lines are refined.
In our sample room, expert seamstresses transform the fabric into a garment. The prototypes are tested, adapted, and perfected. It is a process that requires time, precision, and above all: listening. Listening carefully to the real needs of women. This is where technical expertise and sensitivity come together.
