Tiziana is the first protagonist of a series of episodes in which you will get to know some of the women who inspire us and discover how mountains are woven into their everyday lives. We hope their stories will be as engaging and inspiring to you as they have been to us.
When the mountains are the only thing you see when opening the door ever since you can remember, it is impossible not to establish a unique and special relationship with them.
Tiziana, who was born and raised in Val Camonica, Italy, has experienced just that: despite always looking for new stimuli and always on the move, she has never been able to give up time in the mountains, because that is where she can truly feel herself.
Her dynamic nature is also reflected in what she studies: glaciers. This is one of the reasons why Tiziana chose to work in this field, in fact their being in constant transformation, never the same as themselves is what fascinates her the most. In this way she has managed to combine her passion for nature and the mountains with her work; by studying the effect climate change has on glaciers she tries to understand how to protect the place where she feels most at home.
Being able to do a variety of sports and activities surrounded by nature, never ceasing to discover and learn something new about herself and her limits, is what fuels Tiziana´s passion for the mountains. For her, experiencing nature is an opportunity to know herself better and deeper, to get in touch with herself and her roots, not looking so much at the results, but at the process undertaken to achieve them.
This is LaMunt´s vision of mountains, which is why Tiziana is part of the LaMunt crew, witnessing firsthand the values we want to pass on to all women.
