Last week we looked back at the first part of a special occasion for LaMunt: the Crew Event, a weekend during which, twice a year, the LaMunt Crew comes together to experience the mountains together. The LaMunt Crew is a group of women with very different backgrounds, histories, ages, and professions, but united by the passion for the mountains and who represent, each in her own way, the kind of woman LaMunt is inspired by and speaks to.

Marina has been part of this special group of women since the beginning, and in the last article of our LaMunt Magazine we shared her narration of the first day of the CrewEvent. So today let's find out with her how the weekend continued with walks, workshops, South Tyrolean food, and previews of the upcoming collection. If you missed the first episode click here to catch up!

After the workshop on Saturday afternoon, it's time for the hike with a view of Sass de Putia. But this time the hike has a specific goal: to shoot and make a group video. The challenge launched by Antonella's workshop on ChatGPT applications in the world of social media continues. Divided into four groups, the exercise is to make a video with a post and at least four hashtags to talk about our passion for the mountains and LaMunt. The goal is to compare artificial intelligence with content made with a "real-world" approach. Which one turns out to be the most compelling? Obviously the one designed and created by one of the two groups that did not use ChatGPT.

The post that plays on the sounds of words and gestures (start thinking about the sound of a zipper opening...) won:

SHAKE IT OFF Zip it off, rip it off, take it off. And shake it off. Finally it's time to get naked again. The LaMunt Crew is ready for Spring, are you? #LaMuntwomen #mountainmetime #shakeitoff #springishere.

A fun, unexpected and melodic caption like a song. A post that conveys cheerfulness. Definitely more effective than the posts created by ChatGPT that are correct, complete, but cold, rational and not exciting.

Here, at the end of the walk, in front of Sass de Putia, it is time for the must-take group photo. Here are thirty smiling women, full of energy: an energy that LaMunt transmits and manages to amplify, because in the LaMunt Crew Events we charge each other with new ideas, inspiration and emotions. LaMunt at heart is a contagious brand: you wear it, you love it, you tell about it, you buy it, you gift it. And for us of the LaMunt Crew it is much more than a mountain clothing brand: it has become a way of life, a way of thinking.

That's why when it's time to give our feedback on the FW23/24 collection, find out the strengths of the products, comment on the Smart Fit Solutions or suggest some new little detail, we turn it into a moment to tell about ourselves, look back on the days when we tested LaMunt jackets, pants, thermal hoodies, headbands or hats. It is the #mountainmetime, our relationship with the mountains that is also made of respect for nature. That's why one of the most interesting innovations in this collection embodies one of our deepest values: sustainability. For example, LaMunt, by recycling waste obtained from the production of ski touring skins from the Oberalp Group's POMOCA brand, has created an innovative insulation material - ReMOCA Pad - that is used for padding the new jackets. It sounds like magic: a true application of the circular economy, where nothing is wasted and almost everything is recycled.

After a dinner of canederli - truly unbeatable! - the surprises begin to arrive: a little taste of next seasons' collections, a preview of new color palettes or the most curious ideas for jackets, shorts, outfits or innovative prints. This has become one of the most exciting moments during the winter LaMunt crew events, because we are always curious to find out what the LaMunt Team, the stylists and Samuela - who is in charge of new product development - have planned for the future. It's a bit like when you enter a secret room that contains a treasure and you have the privilege of discovering some of its details. Immediately afterwards, the atmosphere is festive: a toast, two cakes, and lots of candles to blow out for Katharina's birthday. Meanwhile, the lodge bathroom turns into a giant dressing room: we try on the new LaMunt items for next season, a great little gift for the whole crew. Marina and Sophia exchange jacket and short sizes, and someone walks down the hall, as if on a runway, in new trek bermudas that, in honor of today's birthday girl, are named after her: Katharina.

And if this year we have to sadly forgo the six a.m. walk to enjoy the sunrise because Passo delle Erbe is in an area too far away to watch the sunrise, we come up with another idea to make the early morning hours of this Sunday unforgettable: a yoga class taught by Sibylle (actually, Sibelle). After a revitalizing breakfast, it's time to think about the future: what if LaMunt created, in addition to clothing, a backpack to take along on #mountainmetimes? What are the must-have details? What size, color, shape would we choose? Raphael and Manuel from Oberalp (the only males, along with our chef, who had access to the Ütia de Pütia hut with us these days) spark the debate and take notes. So many ideas and endless solutions. Our dream? To have at least 5 different types of backpacks signed by LaMunt. While we wait to have a prototype in our hands, we run to pack our old backpacks: the time for this weekend together is coming to an end. And like all good things, this LaMunt Event comes to an end. And between kisses and hugs, we prepare to leave. Too bad that at least a dozen Samuela Jackets and six white Sophia Cozy Thermal hang at the entrance of the lodge. Will we each be able to find our own jacket?

See you in October, LaMunt Crew!
